1. I want to place an order. How do I know if it is in stock?

If an item is out of stock it will say Out of ‘Stock’.
 
2. I'd like to place an order. When will I receive it & what are the delivery charges?

Orders to be delivered anywhere in the UK under the amount of £15 will be charged a delivery fee of £4.50.
Orders (above the amount of £15) to be delivered anywhere in the UK will be delivered free of charge. Orders are usually received within 5 - 7 working days through the recorded delivery service. Orders will require a signature on receipt.
Orders to be delivered any where in the EU will be charged at a flat rate of £5.95, regardless of how many items you order and will require a signature on receipt of the goods. Orders are usually received within 5 - 7 working days.

3. I'd like to buy something from Shefaly: House of Jewels for a gift. Do you have gift boxes available?

Every item you buy from our website will be packed in a gift box branded with our name which is ideal for gifts. Small items are packed into soft pouch. If you require more than one gift box when you more then 1 item then please state this at check out under the 'comments' box. Additional boxes are charged at a flat rate of £2.

4. Is it safe to buy goods on-line from Shefaly:House of Jewels?
The purchase area of our site is totally secure – our payment partners (Worldpay, owned by HBOS group) use industry-standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to encrypt all your personal information including your name, address and other critically-sensitive data such as your credit or debit card details. This means that information passed between your computer, their website and this website cannot be read by anyone else, even in the event that it is intercepted.
 
When you are in the purchase area, you will see a small padlock in the status window at the bottom of the screen. This signifies SSL 128-bit certification guaranteeing that the page is 100 per cent secure. You can verify the certificate by right-clicking on the padlock and selecting Properties.
 
5. What about 'cookies'?
'Cookies' are small pieces of information that are stored by your browser on your computer's hard drive. We only use cookies to store information about your purchase and you so that we can automatically complete the majority of the order form if you have bought from us previously. Your browser must accept cookies for you to be able to use the “auto-complete” system.
 
 
6. Which credit cards do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards including Visa, Mastercard, Visa Electron, Solo, Switch and Delta. All accepted credit card logos are clearly displayed on the checkout page.
 
7. I'm interested in placing an order but would like some more information about one of your products. What should I do?

8. What if I want to return my goods?
Because we are confident that you will absolutely adore anything you order with us we are willing to pay for any items that you would like to return. But remember that this needs to be returned to us within 7 days of receipt of the item. Please note we do not offer refunds on earrings, even if part of a set, due to hygiene regulations. 
When returning goods we would ask that you follow the procedures below so that we can refund your payment as quickly as possible.
 
Returns form
When your jewellery arrived, you should also have received a returns form. Please fill in your order number. Complete the form indicating the reason for returning the jewellery. This will help us identify the problem and does not affect your refund in any way. If the form is not supplied in your delivery, please email us at returns@shefaly.co.uk or phone us on 0118 950 2398 and we will give you additional information for returning your jewellery.
 
Arrived Damaged or Faulty - In the unlikely event that your goods arrived damaged or are faulty your first action is to inform us by email to returns@shefaly.co.uk within 7 days. We will advise you on how to retuen the goods via our freepost service. We will replace the goods at no charge..
 
Non-Faulty Goods - Non-faulty goods must be returned within 7 days after receiving the product. In the first instance please contact us by email to returns@shefaly.co.uk preferably within 48 hours. Complete the returns form dispatched with your order, and email us on returns@shefaly.co.uk, we will inform you on how to return the goods using our freepost service. Provided the goods are received in brand new, never been used condition and with the same packaging that they left our warehouse in, we will fully refund the price of the goods (We cannot refund any postage charges paid when your bought the goods (eg bought for less than £15, or requested special delivery)). You will receive your refund within 30 days. You will be responsible for the return of the goods and ensuring that we receive the goods in the above condition. We will provide a free delivery code to you which can be noted on the delivery address if you wish to use the free returns method.
 
How long will it take to refund me?
Before contacting us please take note of the timescales required to process a refund, all should be finalized and repaid into your account within 30 days.
 
(N.B Your refund will be credited to the same card with which you made your original purchase. If for any reason this is not possible, (e.g. the card had been declined or has expired) we will send a cheque to your billing address).

Please Note: You should not write jewellery, diamonds or similar words that indicates valuable contents, on the package you are returning, as this invites possible theft of the package.
 
Items returned outside the above guidelines will only be subject to credit. A refund will not be possible if the item/items arrrive damaged as a result of the original packaging not being used, in these cases the item/s will be returned to you. Under no circumstance are we able to accept the return of earrings or hair products in compliance with current Health & Hygiene regulations. This does not affect your statutory rights.
 
9. Will you send me any information about your products in future?
Of course! If you would like for us to send you details of new products or special offers please register with us online.
 
10. What about your Privacy Policy? I don't want my personal details passed on.
Don't worry. Under the Data Protection Acts of 1984 and 1998, we follow strict procedures and will not disclose any customer information to third parties. 11. I want to order goods but don't want to give your credit or debit card details over the Internet?
No problem. Simply make a note of the goods that you would like to order from House of Jewels. Call us to place your order and either give your credit card details over the phone for our customer services advisor to process your details or send a cheque made payable to ‘Shefaly’ to:
