Kate Moss and Swarvoski crystals

London fashion week 2010 starts this week and tomorrow sees the launch of the first 3D film to star Kate Moss with Swarovski crystals. The film was created by artist and filmmaker Baillie Walsh and  features Kate Moss as a mythical goddess in an explosion of minute Swarovski crystals.

The film is called ”KM3D-1′, and can be viewed throughout London Fashion Week, which runs from 17-22 September. The launch of the film shows what an amazing impact London Fashion week has, and now more than ever fashion critics see London Fashion week as more influential than New York Fashion week. No longer is LFW seen as party central, its now taken more seriously than ever before.

Keep a look out on our blog to see up to date blogs on what LFW has to offer for the coming seasons.

Swarovski crystal jewellery is a great way to sparkle on a great night out or when worn as wedding jewellery or prom jewellery if you are lucky. Costume jewellery is a great way to pull any outfit off and Swarovski crystal costume jewellery is even more stunning.

Swarovski crystal jewellery is made from Swarovski crystals and is dearer than normal crystal costume jewellery. The reason being is that Swarovski crystals are designer crystals. However it should be noted that Swarovski crystals are not really anymore sparkly than normal crystals.

Crystal costume jewellery in any colour and design is a great way to look beautiful on your wedding day or as evening jewellery.

Costume jewellery is defined as jewellery that is made from inexpensive metals and imitation or semiprecious stones. Inexpensive or non precious metals include materials such as gold plating, silver plating, wood, leather and beads. Costume jewellery is not made from gold, silver, cultured pearls. However Swarovski Crystal jewellery is classed as costume jewellery.

The best example of costume jewellery is what you see on the Shefaly | House of Jewels website. They provide a range of costume jewellery from necklaces, earrings, cocktail rings and bracelets to cufflinks for men and women.

Costume jewellery is the best way to accessorise any outfit and as all costume jewellery fanatics know, the best way to look outstanding in any outfit.

Designer costume jewellery

Costume jewellery is jewelry that is made from semiprecious stones and non-valuable metals, like leather beads or gold plating. Costume jewelry does not have real gold or real silver in it. Swarovski crystal jewellery is a form of costume jewellery, and Shefaly specialises in this form of costume jewelry.

Designer costume jewellery encompasses all the above traits of costume jewellery. Designer costume jewellery can include necklaces, earrings, cocktail rings, bracelets and cufflinks. Our costume jewellery is designer costume jewellery as our designs are created in house. We have designer costume jewellery that ranges from cufflinks to cocktail rings.

Whatever you decide to wear when it comes to fashion and costume jewellery, wear it with style, and wear what feels comfortable on you and you are sure to dazzle all around you!

Asian wedding jewellery

The wedding season is slowly creeping upon us and so are the bright and colourful Asian weddings that are ever so popular in summer. So what type of Asian wedding jewellery should one wear this season?

Well as far as Asian wedding jewellery goes, it’s still all about Swarovski crystal encrusted jewellery. Most brides will opt for the full on necklace and earring set, with a matching tika and panja. However more recently there has been a trend to go more demure by wearing dainty crystal sets to the registry or to the engagement party. Some brides even go very simple on the actual wedding day and reception to when it comes to their Asian wedding jewellery.

But as usual all I can say is adopt a style that you feel most comfortable in, as it’s all about individual style when it comes to Asian wedding jewellery.
