We all love Christina Aguilera’s music and nowadays her dress sense as well. Not only has a musci cut across all sorts of genres and styles but so has her dress sense and that includes the costume jewellery and fashion accessories she wears. This was even more prevalent at the Golden Globes this year.

Christina wore a stunning black lace dress by Zuhair Murad at the 2011 Golden Globe Awards at the Beverly Hills Hotel. The Muscian and film star was nominated ftor best picture and best original song. The dress was stunningly figure hugging and look beautiful with her ruby red lips. She accessorised the outfit with Lorraine Schwartz Jewels and a Valentino Handbag. But costume jewellery are what stood out to us. She was wearing a classic asian wedding jewellery which is the hand panja or finger ring where the bracelet and ring are connected by a length of jewels. It looked beautiful and you can get one for a fraction of the cost.

Have a look at our bracelets for stunning finger rings and if you arent as daring as Christina Aguilera, go for a bold crystal bracelet and a large cocktail ring to finish your look off.

So the weekend is looming and so is Katy Perry’s wedding to Russell brand in exotic India. From what we have heard is that it will be a full on Indian wedding with elephants and indian clothing and what we were wondering was if Katy will wear indian costume jewellery. Well if she is having an indian exotic theme wedding she will definitely be wearing indian costume jewellery we think. But what type of costume jewellery should  she wear?

Well as far as indian costume jewellery goes there are alot of trends and styles available, and it really does depend on what type of dress and colour theme Katy Perry is going to have. Nowadays alot of indians have weddings that have a european twist to it so the bride would wear a white dress with an alternative indian feel to it with crystal bridal jewellery as their costume jewellery. Or if the bride decides to have a traditional asian wedding then the bride can go for a full on red and gold costume jewellery, to match their red dress with gold embroidery. And then there is a change of outift for the reception and for this you can have just about any colour costume jewellery.

We cant wait to see the photos from Katy Perry’s wedding to Russell Brand. Keep a look out on our blog for the photos from the wedding.

Asian wedding jewellery

The wedding season is slowly creeping upon us and so are the bright and colourful Asian weddings that are ever so popular in summer. So what type of Asian wedding jewellery should one wear this season?

Well as far as Asian wedding jewellery goes, it’s still all about Swarovski crystal encrusted jewellery. Most brides will opt for the full on necklace and earring set, with a matching tika and panja. However more recently there has been a trend to go more demure by wearing dainty crystal sets to the registry or to the engagement party. Some brides even go very simple on the actual wedding day and reception to when it comes to their Asian wedding jewellery.

But as usual all I can say is adopt a style that you feel most comfortable in, as it’s all about individual style when it comes to Asian wedding jewellery.
