Bollywood Jewellery in the UK

Bollywood jewellery is all about the bling, the colour and the sparke. It is essentailly more detailed costume jewellery, with serious colour!

Bollywood jewellery itself may not even be made in india as one may imagine. The beaded items, and bangles are often made in india, but the crystal and sparkle jewellery is often made in eastern Europe or even China!

Shefaly House of jewels has based many of its designs on bollywood, but none of the jewellery is from India! That does not mean that in the future this will be the case, but for the timebeing its swarovski and czech crystals all the way!!

Indian jewellery

Indian jewellery is the same as Asian jewellery. Indian jewellery is colourful costume jewellery that is worn on special occasions like Indian weddings or Indian parties. Indian women like to wear bright colourful clothes to special occasions and so wear matching Indian jewellery.

Indian jewellery trends at the moment encompass mainly statement costume jewellery. So you will see a lot in Indian women wearing chandelier earrings, large bracelets and large necklace and earring sets. These are teamed up with stunningly embroidered handbags, or crystal handbags.

If you would like to get some Indian jewellery but unsure as to what you would like to buy please drop us a like here at the house of jewels and we would love to help.

Asian weddings have the best jewellery, and the most glamorous. But if your getting married, you want to know what the latest trend will be for the coming year, this blog is here to help, along with the useful comments of users of this blog.

Asian jewellery generally follows the same, bold colours, large set approach. But you will have the large companies launching new collections. This does not mean thats necessarily whats in fashion, as a bride needs to wear what she likes, what she sees her in when she flicks through the latest Asian Bride Magazine!

Golds, Reds, Greens are the trend. This will probably never change, as all brides will want these colours for their wedding jewellery. The styles may change, and the bride is likely to change outfits for the evening, thats when the fashion asian jewellery would come into play.

Asian Jewellery

Costume jewellery doesn’t come as flamboyant, colourful and sparkly as when you see it in Asian jewellery. Asian jewellery can be very similar but also very different to English wedding jewellery.

Asian jewellery is usually very colourful. This could be pink Asian jewellery, red Asian jewellery, or blue Asian jewellery. It doesn’t matter what it is as long as it is colourful. In addition, you will notice that the women in the bridal party will wear quiet heavy necklace and earring sets as their Asian jewellery. This

So when attending an Asian wedding, remember to wear bling, colours, Asian jewellery or costume jewellery!

Costume jewellery doesn’t come as flamboyant, colourful and sparkly as when you see it in an Asian Wedding. Asian bridal jewellery can be very similar but also very different to English wedding jewellery, and when it comes to hair accessories this is so much more the case.

Hair tikkas are a piece of hair jewellery that brides and also guest at an Asian wedding wear on their head. Hair tikkas are a beautiful jewelled piece of costume jewellery, which has a hook at one end. This hook is fastened onto the middle of your head at the top (as if it’s following a middle parting) and dangles down onto the middle of your forehead

So if you are ever lucky enough to be invited to an Asian wedding buy yourself a beautiful hair accessory called a hair tikka to make yourself look authentically Asian!
