So the summer holidays are slowly coming to an end, but so many people decide to go on their summer holiday at this time of year to end the summer off with a bang. Whether you are going to Thailand, Australia or Blackpool, you have to think about what costume jewellery you are going to wear on your summer holiday, and whether it is evening costume jewellery or daytime costume jewellery as it can be vastly different.

Costume jewellery can be worn to many different occasions including your annual holiday. So what would you take with you on holiday when it comes to costume jewellery? Well as far as daytime costume jewellery goes you want to wear what will suit the weather. So if you are going somewhere really hot and sticky the last thing you want is to be laiden with costume jewellery that will make you itchy and even more uncomfotable in the heat. So go for small crystal earrings, a small bracelet or just a cocktail ring. In the evening you can go all out and wear cuff bracelet and chandelier earrings as it is cooler.

For cooler climates you can be more versatile in what you wear so you can wear stretch bracelets, or necklace and earring sets. You can even wear glamorous earrings if you like. The same goes for evenings in cooler climates, and dependant on what you are doing, you can mix and match your daytime costume jewellery with your evening costume jewellery.

People love wearing costume jewellery and we all have our favourite pieces of costume jewellery. Whether you are a man, woman, girl or boy you will have that piece of costume jewellery that you just love to wear and will match more or less any outfit that you have ro any occasion that you need to attend. But what is your favourite piece of costume jewellery?

Well my favourite piece of costume jewellery has to be cocktail rings. I just love to wear a sparkly cocktail ring to any occasion. Whether it is attending a wedding or to a summer ball a cocktail ring adds a bit of class and glamour to an outfit. This is especially so if you arent a huge fan of statement chandelier earrings or statement necklaces. Just wear small crystal stud earrings and a dainty bracelet and add a little bit of glamour with a cocktail ring.

Bridal season is well on its way this summer and many brides are still on the search for their bridal jewellery. So the Oscars are this weekend and the stars will well and truely be out in style including the likes of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. The new trends in clothing, accessories and in particular costume jewellery for Speing Summer 2011 are now coming out onto our high streets. All the big high street brands have taken from the likes of Dolce & Gabbana and Fendi to come up with their own take on this Spring/Summers trends.

The main trend we can see with most the designers is that there is a lot of 70′s influence. To see what we mean just have a look at Jodie Foster in Taxi Driver and Michelle Pfiffer in Scarface to get an idea of the types of clothing and jewellery the 70′s style encompasses. There is also alot of bright colours on most of the catwalks as well as minimalism showing a real come back. What does this mean for costume jewellery. Well you could go for brightly coloured jewellery, like a bright bracelet for example. Or better still follow the main key trend that is to have a statement hair clip in your hair and a large statement cocktail ring on your finger.

We all love Christina Aguilera’s music and nowadays her dress sense as well. Not only has a musci cut across all sorts of genres and styles but so has her dress sense and that includes the costume jewellery and fashion accessories she wears. She was wearing a classic asian wedding jewellery which is the hand panja or finger ring where the bracelet and ring are connected by a length of jewels.
